The Learning MATTERS Impact Schools initiative is a practical, two-day professional learning experience designed to bridge the gap between theory and classroom implementation.

Educators will have the opportunity to observe high-quality structured literacy instruction in authentic classroom settings, engage in facilitated professional dialogue, and deepen their understanding of effective practice. 

Impact Schools are designed to:

• Build clarity around what effective structured literacy looks like in practice
• Strengthen teacher confidence and capability
• Support sustainable schoolwide implementation
• Improve literacy outcomes for learners
• Provide practical, cost-effective professional learning

This initiative supports teachers and leaders in moving beyond “knowing about” structured literacy to confidently implementing it in classrooms. 

Please note: You can have one teacher attend the first day and another teacher attend the second day. Please let us know you would like to do this when you go through the registration process.

Please note: Learning MATTERS will supply morning tea only. Attendees will need to supply their own lunch. Attendees are welcome to leave the school during the 1-hour lunch break to get lunch from nearby eateries.
