Learning MATTERS Online Shop

Delivery and delivery charges

Prices for goods and services stated on our website are exclusive of any applicable delivery charges.

The cost of delivery is as stated on our website and a total delivery cost will be provided in the order summary in your online shopping basket. When shipping is outside of NZ international fees will be applied.

We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that orders for tangible goods will be dispatched promptly after an order has been placed

Pricing

All prices are in New Zealand Dollars and are inclusive of any Goods and Services Tax ("GST") and Shipping unless stated to be. All prices are correct when published. We reserve the right to alter prices at any time.

If selected at the time of check-out an invoice will be emailed to you at the email address you supply when you place your order. You are responsible for ensuring that your contact and postal details are correct.

Credit Card Security

All credit card payments are through Shopify Payments which is a PCI Service Provider Level 1 being the highest grade of payment processing security.

 

2026 Learning MATTERS Event Terms and Conditions

An event includes any workshop, webinar, symposium, or professional learning session hosted by Learning MATTERS. 

Ticket Transfers and Refunds 

Event registrations are transferable but not refundable. To transfer a registration to another attendee, please email events@learningmatters.co.nz with the new attendee’s full name, contact details, and other requirements. 

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Learning MATTERS reserves the right to move events to online delivery. If this occurs, registrations will remain valid for the online format and will not be refundable.  

Learning MATTERS accepts no liability for any costs incurred due to changes in the event’s delivery format.  

If events must be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control and no online delivery is offered, a refund (less administration costs) will be provided. Refunds will be issued directly to the credit card/account used for the original purchase and will be processed after the scheduled event dates.  

No refunds will be provided for non-attendance.   

A multi-day event registration cannot be split between attendees. 

Force Majeure Clause 

Learning MATTERS shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in event delivery due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government regulations, strikes, or travel restrictions. In such cases, Learning MATTERS will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements but cannot guarantee refunds beyond the stated policy. 

Event Programme and Speakers 

Learning MATTERS reserves the right to modify the event programme, which is published as an indication only. We may add, withdraw, or substitute speakers/facilitators and adjust session times as needed. In the event of cancellations or changes, Learning MATTERS assumes no obligation to arrange replacement speakers. 

Code of Conduct 

All attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. Any disruptive behaviour, harassment, or violation of event policies may result in removal from the symposia without a refund. 

Tickets and Entry 

  • Upon booking and payment, attendees will receive a registration email. Please print or save a copy for your records. 

  • Payment confirmation will be sent to the ticket purchaser and should also be retained. 

  • Learning MATTERS reserves the right to refuse entry if the attendee’s name and email do not match the booking. 

  • Attendees are encouraged to bring a copy of their registration email for verification. 

  • To update attendee details, email events@learningmatters.co.nz. All changes will be confirmed via email. 

  • All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). GST obligations are stated at the time of booking and on the issued invoice.

Accessibility 

Learning MATTERS is committed to ensuring events are accessible to all. If you have any specific accessibility requirements, please contact us at least 14 days prior to the event to discuss how we can support you. 

Health & Safety 

Attendees must comply with all health and safety guidelines provided by the venue or local authorities. Learning MATTERS reserves the right to deny entry or remove attendees who do not adhere to these protocols.

Liability Disclaimer 

To the extent permitted by law, Learning MATTERS will not be liable for any personal injury, loss, damage, or expenses incurred by attendees in connection with attendance at an event.

Insurance 

Attendees are encouraged to take out personal travel and medical insurance, which includes coverage for loss or damage of personal belongings, registration fees, accommodation, and travel expenses due to cancellation.

Privacy & Data Protection 

Learning MATTERS collects attendee information exclusively for the purpose of event-related communication. Any promotional communications are sent only to individuals who explicitly opt in during the registration process.

Photography & Media Consent 

Photographs and video footage taken during events may be used for promotional purposes, including on the Learning MATTERS website and social media platforms.

By registering for an event, you confirm consent for any images or footage in which you appear to be used in Learning MATTERS marketing materials. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform our event team on the day.

Event Recording  

Some sessions may be recorded and made available to attendees after the event. By attending, you consent to being part of these recordings unless you notify the event team in advance. 

Intellectual Property  

All event materials, including slides and resources, are the intellectual property of Learning MATTERS or its speakers. These materials may not be copied, shared, or used commercially without prior written consent.
