We dive deep into bringing shared books, read-alouds, paired reading fluency, and authentic texts to life—while sharpening your practice with decodables. No matter what scope you use, this workshop is for you.

- Bring the New Zealand Curriculum to life by weaving literacy progressions into your classroom practice.
- Ensure your teaching is data-driven, irrespective of the scope and sequence you use.
- Build strong foundations for all tamariki with the essentials: shared texts, decodable texts, authentic texts and fluency practice.
- Explicitly teach shared texts to increase vocabulary and knowledge.
- Be explicit in your delivery.
- Teach with clarity and confidence, all while being responsive to the needs seen in front of you.
